Common Questions

How much does a kitchen remodel cost in Baltimore?

Kitchen and bath builds at Prime start at $25,000 for pull-and-replace upgrades where plumbing and gas stay in place. Full kitchen remodels with structural changes, custom cabinetry, and high-end appliances typically run between $45,000 and $120,000 depending on scope.

How long does a major home addition take?

Most major additions run 6 to 10 months from the discovery call through final walkthrough — typically 4 to 6 weeks for design and permits, then 4 to 6 months of construction. Underpinning or second-story pop-ups add time.

Do you handle permits and architectural design in-house?

Yes. As a design-build firm we handle architectural design, structural engineering, and permit pulling for Baltimore City and Baltimore County ourselves. You don't need to coordinate a separate architect or expediter.

Are you licensed and insured in Maryland?

Yes — MHIC #143153, fully licensed and insured for residential, commercial, and medical construction across Maryland.

What areas do you serve?

Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Howard County, Anne Arundel County, and Carroll County. We do most of our work in Pikesville, Owings Mills, Towson, Reisterstown, and central Baltimore.

Do you take on small projects or only major renovations?

We focus on substantive projects starting around $25,000 — kitchens, baths, additions, full renovations, and medical or dental buildouts. We don't take on single-room cosmetic refreshes.
